The campsite welcomes your hire tipi with a fire bowl.
As you can tell from the picture, this campsite is stunning, and on top of this the owners are very helpful and friendly. The site is situated in Carmarthenshire twenty minutes from Cardigan bay. The campsite is part of a 17 acre smallholding with donkeys, horses and shetland ponies. It has dedicated a 3 acre site for camping and only allows a small number of touring vans so it is always wonderfully peaceful and, providing nobody sneaks their tent a foot away from you in the middle of the night, (a strange proximity phenomenon that can also be observed on beaches) you should get a spot all to yourself.
The local area is fantastic for walking and there are many small offbeat local attractions including the National Coracle Museum where you can view an international collection of coracles, (small rounded boats) and learn the traditional art of how to build them. There is also an excellent bike hire shop nearby.
In the village of Drefach-Felindre, (a small walk away) there is fish and chip shop and a great local pub for traditional food and ales.
