Posted 21/08/10: From Febuary 2011 we will have an additional depot on the border of Cornwall and Devon. At Tipi Rent we hire out, and erect, hand painted, Native American canvas tipis for :
Have a teepee put up in your garden, or choose any campsite you would like to stay at for a tipi holiday (surf trips, walking trips, fishing weekend etc) and we will contact them to arrange your stay and deliver and set up the tepee so it is ready for you on your arrival. Why hire a marquee? Graceful and majestic, the tipi, or teepee (a Sioux word that means 'to dwell in') is an idyllic place to live and relax. For our wintry nights our inner liners provide an insulated air space to keep the tipi cosy at night. For our summer days the rich cotton fabric offers welcoming shade and the cover can even be raised to let a cool breeze flow through the sheltered interior.

Camping If you would like to rent a tepee for a unique, hassle free camping trip, if you wish , you can choose your campsite, provide us with the details, and we will then contact the site on your behalf to arrange delivery of your tipi tent and check that fire bowls are permitted on the campsite. If they are not, we can provide you with a list of other local alternative sites. In 2011 as well as our current base we will also be hiring our tipis out from Cornwall (Bude) which is also perfectly placed to deliver to the whole of Devon and its fantastic campsites.

Artwork Above is the stunning artwork on the door of our 4 metre tepee. On the canvas door on our much larger 5.5 metre (18 foot) tepee you will find a buffalo in the same style. The artwork is by local artist Victoria Murphy. Of course we are always happy to answer any questions. If you email us and leave your contact number and a time and day (Monday-Sunday) that is convenient for you we will give you a ring. Prices Our rental prices are already exceptionally competitive and when you hire from us a fire bowl is included with the price as standard. We offer a weekend, or Monday - Friday rate but you can also rent a tipi for an entire week at a reduced nightly rate if you are planning a longer event or tipi holiday. Sustainability Camping is the essence of basic living where you become part of the natural environment; so too are our tipis. All our tipis we hire out are made from cotton canvas and our poles are courtesy of a local tree surgeon employed by the woodland trust. If you have any special requirements for your event that are not mentioned on the site please contact us to recieve a very prompt response. We will be hiring to many of the smaller festivals this summer. If you wish to hire a traditionl North America tepee for a festival, please contact us well in advance so that we are able to arrange this with the organisers. Our next planned festival is beautiful days, Devon. Furnished tipi tents for hire. All our tepees come furnished with rugs, lanterns and a whole host of other accessories to provide you with a very comfortable stay. For further details please visit the tepee hire prices page. Stag and hen parties: Our large 5.5 metre tepee tents sleep 10 and can accomodate 15 sitting round the fire pit. They can be hired for as little as £15 per person per night and have proved to be very popular with stag and hen groups in the past. Last year we provided 4 tipis for a stag party at Saunton sands (North Devon) Country Tracks To view what it is like to stay in a tepee a recent episode of country tracks (shown Sunday 4th of July) showed the presenter Ellie canoeing down the river Wye and staying overnight in a tipi in Herefordshire. Our 5.5 metre tipis are a similar size to the ones shown and also come with an inner liner, matting and a wood burner. Teepee rental Wales We provide tipi tent hire to every single county in Wales. For a tepee holiday in Wales, Surf camping trips to West Wales (Gower and Porthcawl) have proved to be very popular. If you would like to stay in our tipis at Pitton cross (A beautiful site overlooking Rhossili beach (Gower) or indeed any other campsite in the Gower, Wales or England) please contact us and we will arrange your stay at the campsite of your choice. At Shell island (North Wales) you can pitch your tepee in the sand dunes of one of the largest campsites in Europe hundreds of yards from anybody else for a week of relaxation and total peace and quiet. If you would like to explore more in land, the mid Wales Brecon Beacons offer a vast array of peaceful campsites to come home to after a day spent walking in the Brecon hills. Tipi hire Cornwall and Devon From Febuary 2011 we will also be hiring out our tipis from our depot in Bude in Cornwall so will be perfectly placed for hires to all areas in Devon as well.
